CHALLENGE
In July 2013, Kaiser Permanente (KP), America’s largest nonprofit health care provider, appointed former President/COO Bernard J. Tyson as CEO and incoming Chairman (as of January 2014). Mr. Tyson had a limited external profile as he assumed his CEO office based on his previous positions within KP that focused on the operations of the organization.
SOLUTION
FleishmanHillard created a integrated executive communications strategy, which included building Bernard J. Tyson’s social media presence on Twitter and LinkedIn with the goal of establishing him as a leader in the industry.
